Faith That Stays

You know… this Gospel is really about someone who refuses to walk away from Jesus.

This woman is an outsider.
She has no status.
No claim.
No reason to expect Jesus even has to listen to her.

And still… she comes.
And she stays.
And she trusts that even a small place near Him is enough.

And honestly, I think that’s where most of us live.

Most of us don’t come to God feeling strong or holy or put together.
Most of us come carrying something —
a worry…
a regret…
someone we love…
something we can’t fix.

And this Gospel says:

Come anyway.

Come with the faith you have — not the faith you wish you had.

A Word from the Early Church

St. John Chrysostom said:

“Prayer is the light of the soul.”

Meaning — when we turn toward God, even in weakness, even in worry, even in doubt — light enters.

The Simple Takeaway

Bring whatever is on your heart to Jesus.

Even if it feels small.
Even if it feels messy.
Even if it feels like “crumb-sized” faith.

Because He is never bothered by people who come to Him honestly.

You don’t have to have perfect faith to come to Jesus — you just have to come.
